Ford B Max

Shown as a concept at the Geneva Motor Show last year, the Ford B Max will be launched as a production model at the Geneva Show this year. One of its attractions will be the fact that it will probably be the first production model to use the new three cylinder EcoBoost petrol engine. It will also come with a range of TDCI diesel engines. It is scheduled to go on sale throughout European markets later this year. One interesting design feature, is that the B-pillar has been incorporated into the doors themselves, allowing the rear doors to be hinged at their rear ends, thus providing a large unhindered space for entry and exit, when both a front and rear door is opened on the same side.
